Job Description Manages and monitors the financial performance of the agency, monitoring for financial variances, identifying and implementing measures to reduce costs and/or optimize reimbursement, and implementing measures to maintain the department’s operations in a fiscally responsible manner, including contract service management such as updating payer credentialing. Maintains continuity and coordinates office activities and procedures to support the standards of care established by the department. Directs staff to carry out responsibilities per department policy. Develops and implements policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Provides support and supervision to assigned positions. Responsible for all day‑to‑day operations of the agency. Ensures that a clinical supervisor is available during all operating hours and that an RN is available after hours (24/7) to address patient concerns. Performs the functions of the clinical supervisor, intake, scheduling, quality review, utilization management, medical records as needed. Ensures the agency employs qualified personnel that meet all state and federal requirements. Collaborates with talent acquisition and HR team related to personnel matters. Accountable to meet & exceed national benchmarks in key performance indicators that impact reportable outcomes and the financial health of the organization. Provides oversight of the clinical, operational, and financial functions of the agency in compliance with regulatory entities and accrediting organizations. Interacts regularly with hospital leaders and care management teams to foster relationships, collaborate on patient outcomes and transitions of care. Ensures a quality improvement program is implemented that includes patient safety initiatives such as infection control, risk management, performance improvement projects, patient experience, and monitors patient trends and outcomes. Ensures the QI committee meets at least quarterly to review data/trends and implement plans for improvement with follow‑up to evaluate results. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Required)

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Physical Therapist (PT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
