Overview Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafés. Since then, we have more than tripled in size to become the second‑largest Panera franchisee in the world and continue to grow by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators. Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread, built on a decentralized business model. Each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Reporting to the Market Leaders are Area Directors who manage multiple units and are responsible for the overall functions of the cafés in their area. Unit managers are the General Managers, the chief café managers responsible for the overall running of their cafés. Assistant Managers help oversee daily operations, and Team Managers provide leadership across the café.

Position Description Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly spaces that feature baked breads and pastries. We serve made‑to‑order soups, salads and sandwiches, along with specialty espresso beverages. No fryers and no late nights—our environment is grease‑ and alcohol‑free, and managers can expect to start early in the morning.
Managers at our growing cafés supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a top‑quality service experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding leadership to your team, inspiring, coaching and counseling to create a profitable environment and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management.
Look for like‑minded individuals ready to surround themselves with fresh food and great people.
Bring a steady, stable employment track record, attention to detail, and outstanding social skills to the role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a role‑model and lead the team.
Ensure that team members provide great customer service.
Take ownership of the business performance of the restaurant.
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
Run quality opening, mid and closing shifts to ensure a consistent, positive customer experience.
Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train and motivate staff.
Assist the specialist within the bakery‑café, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values and following ethical business practices.
Exhibit a professional image and promote the company’s values and beliefs as outlined on the Premier Card.
Qualifications
At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience.
Food management certifications are a plus.
Must have the “Run it Like You Own It” mentality.
Excellent organization, customer service and time‑management skills.
Proven track record for leadership.
Passion, energy and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse group of people.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to stand and move well‑paced for up to ten (10) hours.
Must safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
