Job Summary This professional role reviews actions completed by the Economic Self‑Sufficiency Specialist I, communicates with, motivates, trains, and mentors employees, and maintains detailed knowledge of eligibility processes, procedures, and computer systems used in determining public assistance eligibility, monitoring, and performance measurement.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and Quality Review – review and analyze case records per the Quality Management System Plan; discuss case reviews with staff and use the case reading process for learning; ensure timely, accurate case corrections; develop performance initiatives and corrective action plans.
Administrative – resolve issues from internal and external customers; evaluate and analyze performance data; complete reports; participate in planning and presentation of performance reviews; ensure compliance with personnel, fiscal, and administrative rules.
Training/Policy – provide effective training to employees; review, interpret, and coordinate the implementation of policy, procedures, and directives; provide technical assistance.
Lobby – support the lobby supervisor when necessary; assist customers with complex case problems; maintain workflow organization and provide assistance as needed.
Professional Development – maintain and develop knowledge and skills through conferences, staff meetings, mandatory training, and workshops.
Special Work – perform assignments and duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
One or more years of experience determining eligibility for food stamps, Medicaid, and cash assistance (preferred).

Additional domain knowledge in Therapy and Counseling, Data Analysis, Psychology, etc.
