Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master cum Business Analyst to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines the leadership and facilitation responsibilities of a Scrum Master with the analytical and documentation expertise of a Business Analyst. The role requires 8+ years of experience in IT projects, including strong involvement in integration and implementation initiatives. Prior exposure to the Healthcare domain, with an understanding of its processes, regulatory environment, and technology solutions, will enable the candidate to better align business needs with technical solutions while ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a
servant‑leader
to the development team, ensuring Agile values and principles are understood and practiced.
Facilitate all
Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove obstacles and resolve conflicts that may impact the team’s performance and delivery.
Ensure the team remains focused, motivated, and aligned toward achieving sprint and project goals.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is well‑groomed, prioritized, and ready for execution.
Coach team members and stakeholders on
Agile practices , promoting a culture of continuous improvement and transparency.
Track project progress using
Agile metrics
(velocity, burndown, release progress, etc.) and provide visibility to stakeholders.
Business Analyst Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to
elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements .
Document requirements as
user stories, functional specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria .
Translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements for development teams.
Support
integration and implementation projects , ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
Conduct
gap analysis
to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure deliverables meet business and quality expectations.
Facilitate
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
by preparing test cases, coordinating stakeholder involvement, and validating solutions against requirements.
Act as a
bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders , ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
8+ years of professional experience , with a strong blend of
Scrum Master and Business Analyst
expertise.
Proven experience in managing
end‑to‑end project lifecycles, integration, and implementation initiatives .
Prior
exposure to the Healthcare domain
with knowledge of workflows, compliance requirements, or healthcare IT solutions.
Strong knowledge of
Agile/Scrum frameworks , with a track record of facilitating high‑performing teams.
Excellent skills in
requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication .
Proficiency with tools such as
JIRA, Confluence, Trello, MS Office Suite, or similar project management tools .
Ability to create and manage
process flows, wireframes, and requirement documentation .
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across
multifunctional teams and global stakeholders .
Capable of balancing facilitation responsibilities with analytical problem‑solving.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), CBAP, CCBA, or PMI‑ACP .
Familiarity with
integration projects involving APIs, third‑party tools, or enterprise applications .
Knowledge of
data‑driven decision‑making and reporting tools
for Agile metrics.
