Position Summary The Manager, Performance Enablement and Training is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving onboarding and development programs, primarily Sales and Consulting roles.
This position ensures that colleagues gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed quickly in their roles, while fostering a culture of growth and performance excellence.
The role partners closely with Clearwater leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to create scalable, engaging learning experiences aligned with Clearwater’s goals.
Specific Job Responsibilities New Hire Onboarding & Role-Specific Training
Design and implement onboarding programs tailored for Sales and Consulting roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client engagement strategies.
Develop learner-centric content using blended learning approaches (eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and hands-on practice).
Coordinate program logistics including scheduling, facilitator engagement, platform setup, and participant communications. Development Needs Assessment
Conduct role-specific needs analyses to identify knowledge and skill gaps for Sales and Consulting teams.
Gather feedback from managers/directors, participants, and stakeholders to refine onboarding priorities and content.
Align training programs with Clearwater’s strategies to accelerate colleague performance.
Create and curate practical, role-based learning resources that support onboarding and ongoing development.
Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences.
Select and manage the suite of tools and resources used to develop training content.
Research and apply the latest instructional design techniques, technologies, and best practices, including AI applications, to enhance training programs.
Program Execution & Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Sales & Consulting leadership, management, and Colleague Success teams to align training initiatives with Clearwater’s goals.
Support manager and director-led development by providing facilitation guides, coaching resources, and performance feedback loops.
Training Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
In collaboration with the Director, Sales Development, Senior Directors, and Consulting Leadership Define success metrics and track program participation, engagement, and performance outcomes.
Conduct post-training evaluations and ROI analysis to measure impact and identify improvement opportunities.
Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving needs and market trends.
Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
Requirements Experience Required
5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, or Performance Training.
Experience creating and delivering training for Sales and/or Consulting roles preferred.
Proven ability to manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure, while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
Demonstrated experience in identifying, engaging, and managing a diverse range of internal stakeholders, tailoring communication to meet varied needs and expectations.
Qualifications, Skills, & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
Must have a service-oriented, forward thinking, strategic and solution-minded mindset.
Proficiency with Paylocity Learning or other learning delivery and digital content tools.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and/or similar software.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task, in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals
Excellent communicator

The base salary range for this role is $___110,000________ to $___140,000________. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and paid sick time. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including applicable candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
