Overview
Sycamore Canyon Academy is a unique therapeutic and educational community located in the heart of Oracle, Arizona. It offers a sanctuary where students and staff can connect with nature through extensive trails that provide a safe and enriching learning environment. The academy empowers at‑risk youth to overcome challenges and reach their full potential through a holistic approach that integrates accredited education, therapeutic services, and immersive outdoor experiences.
Pay & Benefits Pay : $20.00 an hour
Medical, Dental, Vision, and company‑paid life insurance within 90 days. 401(k) match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment. Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues, plus other benefits.
Responsibilities The Transportation Officer works as a member of the Student Services Team and is primarily responsible for transporting students to and from the site for off‑site appointments. Depending on the location, the officer reports to the Transportation Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or Executive Administrative Assistant.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year working with youth in a child welfare or agency setting
Bilingual in Spanish and English
At least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (no THC), physical, TB test, and child abuse registry search
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8 am–5 pm (A shift) or 8 am–9 pm (B shift)
Schedule subject to change based on program needs
