Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Associate to support our pizza delivery operation. The successful candidate will stock inventory, process orders, maintain equipment, and deliver products while representing the brand with professionalism.
Responsibilities
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone and in‑person orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car to customers, including flyers and door hangers.
Operate all equipment and prepare product as needed.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
Must pass a background check and have open availability.
Training Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person, and provide training and leadership support.
Essential Functions & Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately; handle monetary change; use verbal, written, and telephone communication for order processing; maintain motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen; maintain cost controls; navigate maps and addresses; handle adverse terrain during delivery.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather when performing outdoor tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some areas; product fumes; cornmeal dust; cramped quarters in walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving parts; near and mid‑range vision required; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Sensory & Physical Demands Standing most tasks; walking short distances; carrying cases up to 50 lbs and stacking to 72” high; lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing occasional stairs or ladders; bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching required at various heights.
