Position Overview
Research Project Manager in the College of Health and Human Performance, part of the AAH Health Education and Promotion. The role manages community‑engaged research projects, ensuring timely completion of research objectives and program goals.

Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day project tasks, ensuring integrity and compliance.
Schedule, conduct, and transcribe qualitative key informant interviews with community leaders and health workers.
Act as liaison between project partners, community health workers, and the research team.
Develop and EXPORT? Wait, correct: Develop and deliver training workshops for community health workers.
Assist with grant status reports, IRB amendments, and project progress tracking.
Support establishment of a digital technology lending program with partner libraries and community stakeholders.
Coordinate data collection, oversee data integrity, perform basic statistical and qualitative analyses, and assist in manuscript writing.
Maintain project budgets, process payments, and monitor timelines.
Communicate project progress to partners and stakeholders, and resolve system‑related issues.
Mentor project staff, including community health workers and student interns.
Oversee quality control and ensure study protocols are followed.
Position contingent upon availability of funds.
Time Allocation
Social Research/Program Administration – 50%
Project Design – 20%
Data Analysis, Management, and Dissemination – 20%
Communication – 10%
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of related work experience.
Accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple research projects.
Strong communication skills with researchers and community partners.
Social and behavioral research experience, including field data collection, survey interviews, and community‑based participatory research.
Training in public health, social work, family science, or related discipline.
Completion of human research protections training.
