Perkins Eastman is a global architectural design practice with expertise in all aspects of the built environment. This Project Manager role leads architectural design and technical production of projects across education, mix‑use, large‑scale, healthcare, and housing practice areas.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage overall healthcare or large‑scale projects through all design phases, including client interaction, schedule and financial performance.
Assist Principal‑in‑Charge with generating Design Services Proposals.
Understand contracts and run projects from inception through to project closeout.
Manage project teams and determine staffing assignments to meet milestones.
Handle budgeting, staffing, billing, and consultant billing.
Generate or manage project details in Revit and coordinate with design teams.
Coordinate material identification and specifications.
Perform quality control of contract documents.
Lead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase, including meetings, submittals, and field sketches.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
Minimum 6–10 years’ experience.
OSHPD/HCAI experience for healthcare projects.
Experience with small to mid‑level healthcare projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Deltek Vision Software is a plus.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
License preferred.
Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design.
CPHD, LEED, WELL accreditations, or progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.
Additional Qualifications
Interface with client and maintain relationships while managing the project.
Build fee proposals for projects.
Manage project budget.
Contribute to RFPs.
Excellent communication skills.
Assign and manage staff on the project.
Business development and client acquisition is a plus.
