Job Description The EDI Order Fulfillment Specialist reports to the Operations Manager and oversees EDI transactions in support of our B2B and B2C business. This role is responsible for managing EDI order flows and coordinating with our EDI provider, customers, and 3PL partners to support accurate and on‑time order fulfillment and delivery.

The Specialist works closely with the Direct‑to‑Consumer (DTC) team to ensure consistent and accurate fulfillment across channels. This position requires a strong background in EDI, solid NetSuite experience, and a proven track record of success supporting B2B order management in a rapidly growing omni‑channel CPG business. This role works cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, warehouse and transportation partners, along with customers to meet service level expectations while minimizing logistics costs. The EDI Order Fulfillment Specialist contributes to continuous improvement efforts by identifying issues, recommending enhancements, and supporting process and system improvements as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage EDI transactions, including order processing, invoicing, and shipping confirmations.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of EDI documents (e.g., 850, 855, 856) in accordance with customer guidelines and business requirements.

Troubleshoot EDI‑related issues, working with IT and external EDI providers to implement solutions and improvements.

Manage transactions within NetSuite to track customer orders, returns, and invoicing, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.

Prepare and distribute reporting for Open Orders, Invoicing, and Fulfillment status.

Support the resolution of customer claims, shortages, chargebacks, returns, and elevate recurring issues as needed.

Coordinate with the DTC sales team to ensure all e‑commerce orders are processed and shipped properly.

Serve as a key resource for EDI and NetSuite‑related questions, supporting internal teams as needed.

Support shipment execution by coordinating with warehouses and transportation partners in accordance with customer requirements and established processes.

Ensure finished good inventory and customer order fulfillment are optimized across our 3PL warehouse network.

Monitor and support relationships with 3PL and transportation partners by tracking performance metrics and escalating service issues.

Ensure customer, product, and partner data is accurately maintained in NetSuite and aligned across all systems and providers to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Support pricing and item setup in NetSuite in coordination with Accounting and Sales.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and NetSuite , with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize transactions.

Minimum 5 years of experience in an order fulfillment role, with a focus on B2B environments in the CPG or retail industries.

A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to handle complex customer issues and elevate when necessary.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience using ERP systems, business partner portals, Microsoft Suite, and Excel.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

APICS/ASCM CLTD, CPIM, or CSCP certifications (a plus).
