Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative. You will be responsible for multi-tasking, following established processes and procedures, managing driver accounts, and maintaining extreme attention to detail. This position is scheduled for Monday - Friday, with limited weekend coverage. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $18 to $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
* Handle multiple phone calls and messaging systems to coordinate load information and scheduling with customers, shippers, and consignees.
* Follow established processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
* Manage driver accounts and act as the account representative for designated customers.
* Communicate efficiently with dispatch, passing along pertinent information through the database, email, and phone.
* Prioritize schedules and efficiently monitor loads under respective terminals, ensuring on-time arrival and load status communication.
* Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, fluid environment handling multiple variables and constantly changing information in real-time.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office, and dispatching software.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to keep overall progress in mind.
* Ability to handle multiple phone calls and messaging systems.
* Strong communication skills for efficient interaction with dispatch and other stakeholders.
