About the Role
The Company is seeking a Principal or Senior Vice President to play a pivotal role in the launch and growth of its GP-Led Secondaries business. This new investment team will focus on single-asset and concentrated multi-asset continuation vehicles, as well as transactions led by GPs aiming to return capital to investors. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of deal evaluation, structuring, due diligence, and legal documentation for private equity secondaries. This includes conducting thorough financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, as well as preparing and presenting Investment Committee memorandums. The role also involves ongoing monitoring of the team's investments, negotiating and structuring secondary transactions, and staying abreast of market trends in the secondary market.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a financial subject area, with at least 8 years' of equity secondaries and/or private equity experience, and a minimum of 12 years' in financial services. The ideal candidate will have a high sense of urgency, analytical rigor, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients. Critical competencies for success include leadership, achieving results, personal effectiveness, and thinking critically. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable with writing and presenting detailed memos and analytics to the Investment Committee, and who is enthusiastic about working in an office environment.
