About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and General Counsel to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CLO will be a key strategic leader, responsible for providing legal guidance that aligns with the organization's mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. This role involves navigating a complex regulatory and operational landscape, ensuring that all legal decisions support the company's values and objectives. The successful candidate will serve as a legal advisor to the President, CEO, and the Board of Directors, and will oversee a wide range of legal initiatives, including corporate and commercial transactions, litigation, employment, regulatory matters, and system development and integration.

The ideal candidate for the CLO position at the company will be a seasoned legal leader with a proven track record in complex healthcare organizations. They must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school, be an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association or eligible for admission, and have a minimum of ten years of experience as an attorney in the healthcare sector. Expertise in healthcare regulatory matters, contracting, physician alignment, litigation, and transactions is essential. The role also requires strong leadership, relationship-building skills, and the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization. Prior executive-level experience in overseeing legal teams and a background in leveraging technology and operational improvements to enhance departmental performance are highly valued.
