JSG is interested in speaking with Sr. Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineering (PE) license and experience with AutoCAD. This is a direct hireopportunity with our top client in Syosset, NY. Salary for this role is $160K. Sr. Electrical Engineer Description Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities. Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases. Preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams and load calculations. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members. Review of submittals and RFIs during construction administration Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD) Capable of leading a team of engineers and working independently with little guidance. The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience; 10+ years of Electrical Design experience Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit Understanding of NEC, NFPA & IEEE codes and standards Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects preferred Excellent communication, multi-tasking and an ability to work independently Professional Engineering (PE) license required Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Required Please apply if you are ready to work ASAP with a fast-growing Construction Company!
