Position Summary Responsible for reviewing and approving electric utility improvement design packages, preparing work orders and cost estimates for new business construction. Serves as a primary point of contact for customers, developers, contractors, engineering firms, and government agencies, coordinating electric utility improvement projects of varying complexity. Ensures customer needs are met by guiding stakeholders through utility design requirements, standards, policies, and the overall new business process.
Key Responsibilities ● Responsible for the review and approval of new improvement design packages, and preparation of work orders and cost estimates for new business construction. ● This position may be the central point of contact for external customers, developers, contractors, engineering firms, local agencies, utilities and governmental entities. ● Coordinates simple to more complex electric utility improvements. ● Focuses on the identification of customer needs regarding project specific electric utility design requirements, standards, and policies and establishes project specific business relationships and guides the customer through the New Business process.
Required Qualifications and Skills ● Responsible for verification of voltage, amperage and panel size for various types of meter sets, and ensures that a final inspection from the appropriate government entity has been issued, the panel is energized and that identification is clearly posted on the panel and building. Required to operate a vehicle for the Company. ● Responsible for project quality assurance and ensuring a quality product for internal and external customers. ● Project Management Skills a plus.
