STAFF ACCOUNTANT Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your accounting career? Join our dynamic team, a small but rapidly growing CPA firm. We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to support our clients and contribute to the success of our organization. Responsibilities: Conduct day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Collaborate with team members to complete month-end and year-end closing procedures. Prepare and submit tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership tax filings. Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency. Communicate effectively with clients, providing support and addressing their accounting and tax-related inquiries. Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations, standards, and best practices. Assist with ad-hoc projects and special assignments as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification or working towards obtaining CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial management tools. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
