About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to join its executive management team. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor on financial strategy and operations, overseeing all finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting, tax, payroll, treasury, and HR functions. This role is pivotal in driving the company's profitability and establishing a best-in-class finance and accounting function. The VP/CAO will also play a key role in evaluating and supporting growth strategies and potential acquisitions, and must be committed to the company's culture and core values.
Applicants for the VP/CAO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with an MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation highly preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, is required. The role demands a candidate with strong finance and accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be a hands-on leader. Experience in a dynamic real estate development and construction company is ideal. The VP/CAO will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to, strategic and operational financial management, cash flow projection, and maintaining key external partnerships.
