About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Group Account Director with a strong background in pharmaceutical agency experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for pursuing, networking, and closing new business, as well as leading strategic growth and new initiatives for existing accounts. This role involves managing a portfolio with a proven value of $8-10 million or more, ensuring its profitability, and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation. The SVP will also serve as a senior strategic advisor for high-level client stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of strategically sound and flawlessly executed agency work.
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive experience in an Account Management or Client Services role within a pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency, with a mandatory focus on HCP/DTC pharmaceutical clients. A proven track record of managing and growing a book of business valued at $8 million or more is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to drive new business and organic growth. The role requires exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, including the ability to mentor and motivate multiple account teams. The candidate should be based in the tri-state area and be willing to work in the Philadelphia office for a minimum of 3 days per month.
