Pathologist-General Surgical Memphis, TN We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgical Pathologist to join a hospital-based private pathology practice in the Memphis metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills across a broad range of surgical pathology cases and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Sign out a wide spectrum of general surgical pathology specimens, including GI, breast, skin, gynecologic, and urologic cases Participate in intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) Review cytology specimens as appropriate (experience preferred but not required) Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, and clinical teams Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and institutional quality standards Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences as assigned Contribute to quality improvement and laboratory initiatives Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CP Strong experience or interest in general surgical pathology Fellowship training is welcome but not required Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
