About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Global Regulatory Information, Data, and Systems. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to ensure the integrity of regulatory data and the efficiency of regulatory systems on a global scale. The successful candidate will lead a team of experts, drive data quality, and enhance connectivity across global regulatory affairs, research and development, and the enterprise. Key accountabilities include the development and realization of a global strategy, data governance, and sustainability, as well as leading initiatives for the adoption of regulatory information standards. The role also involves driving business intelligence and data visualization capabilities and ensuring the evolution and integration of global regulatory information systems.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's, and at least 15 years of experience in the life sciences, particularly in regulatory affairs and regulatory information, data, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading global regulatory information capabilities and teams, as well as experience in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders. A deep understanding of regulatory processes, data standards, and the R&D value chain is essential. The role requires a collaborative leader with strong analytical skills, a results-oriented approach, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. Experience with the Veeva RIM platform and a background in thought leadership within the industry are also desirable.
