The ideal candidate for the CIO position at the company will have at least 10 years' experience in a large, complex organization, with a preference for those with a background in higher education. They should have experience in managing large-scale operations, leading high-performing teams, and be adept at change management and fostering institutional alignment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree being preferred. The role demands a collaborative leadership style, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to ensure that technology is responsive to emerging needs, including the opportunities presented by transformative technologies. Experience in building and institutionalizing effective PMO and Quality functions is highly desirable.
