About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its Alumni Agencies, which include the Alumni Association, Foundation, and Keydet Club. The CEO will be the senior executive responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and performance of the combined entities, with a primary focus on shaping and executing a unified advancement strategy. This strategy is designed to strengthen engagement among the company's diverse constituencies and secure sustainable philanthropic support. The successful candidate will work closely with the Alumni Agencies Board and Institute stakeholders to provide strategic guidance for institutional advancement, including major and planned giving, campaign design, donor stewardship, and alumni relations. The role also involves ensuring cohesion among the Alumni Agencies and their respective boards to maximize impact on behalf of the Institute.
Applicants for the CEO position should have a minimum of 15 years' senior-level management experience, significant success in advancement, and a strong organizational vision within a mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the mission and traditions of the company, experience in a nonprofit setting, and a proven track record in leading large-scale fundraising campaigns. The role requires exceptional strategic, analytical, and creative skills, as well as a good knowledge of all aspects of advancement. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree. The CEO will provide leadership for the approximately 45 employees of the Alumni Agencies and must be adept at working with a governing board to achieve the company's goals.
