Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager (Territory Manager) is responsible for managing and expanding a defined territory by strengthening customer relationships, increasing product penetration, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a field-driven sales role requiring extensive travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to represent a broad and diverse product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an established multi-million-dollar book of business within the territory. Conduct regular in-person visits with independent distributors and foodservice partners to build relationships and drive sales. Expand product penetration and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts. Present and promote a large portfolio of frozen, refrigerated, and dry products across multiple categories. Maintain accurate customer information, pricing updates, and account activity. Address customer questions related to pricing, delivery, and product availability. Communicate territory updates, feedback, and market insights to internal teams. Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions. Participate in scheduled onsite meetings at headquarters (2–3 days monthly). Organize weekly travel routes efficiently to maximize customer appointments and overall territory coverage. Uphold professional standards and support a collaborative, customer-focused environment. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in foodservice sales, distributor account management, or territory-based selling. Experience working with large product portfolios and familiarity with diverse foodservice categories. Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities. Highly organized, self-sufficient, and capable of managing a territory independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance. Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%, including overnight travel).
