Electrical Assembly Technician

Entry level control panel builder for UL 508A panel shop. You would be responsible for assembling custom designed control panels for the HVAC industry. This could include motor starters, multi-motor/fan wall, domestic water control, variable frequency drive control/interface, as well as many other HVAC related panels. Responsibilities: Follow schematics to assemble varying sizes of control panels from start to finish Adhere to UL 508A and safety standards Read and understand panel layout and panel wiring diagrams Install / mount devices, sensors, contactors, switches and other components Wire 480/240/120 VAC 1-Phase / 3-Phase and 24 VAC & DC components Wire Motor Starters and / or Variable Frequency Drives Identify control panel components from bill of materials and/or schematic symbols. Wire industrial control panels based on schematic, and/or wire schedule. Ensure all electrical components adhere to UL 508A standards. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: · Sit or stand for extended periods of time. · Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Open to computer based and on the job training MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma Experience and/or Training: Some mechanical assembly or electrical assembly experience and/or training. All honorably discharged military Veterans from any branch will be considered regardless of MOS /AFSC / Rating.
