*Anesthesiologist - Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) *
*Location:* Plano, Texas *Schedule:* Part-Time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) *Setting:* Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
*About the Position*
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative *Anesthesiologist* to join our growing *Ambulatory Surgery Center*. This offers an excellent opportunity to work in a *high-efficiency, outpatient surgical environment* with predictable scheduling, no overnight call, and a strong multidisciplinary team.
Our ASC specializes in *foot and ankle surgery and vascular procedures*, providing high-quality care with a patient-centered approach. The ideal candidate is experienced in ASC anesthesia, values teamwork, and is committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent patient outcomes.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide anesthesia services for *podiatric and vascular surgical procedures* in an ASC setting * Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-anesthesia assessments * Administer general anesthesia, MAC, and regional blocks as appropriate * Collaborate closely with surgeons, CRNAs, nursing staff, and surgical team * Ensure compliance with *AAAHC, CMS, and state regulatory standards* * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record * Participate in quality assurance, patient safety, and performance improvement activities * Uphold best practices in infection control, medication management, and patient monitoring
*Qualifications*
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school * *Board Certified in Anesthesiology* * Active, unrestricted *Texas state medical license* * Current *DEA registration* * Current *BLS and ACLS certification* * Experience in *Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)* or outpatient surgical settings preferred * Experience with podiatry, orthopedic, or foot & ankle cases strongly preferred * Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
