Job DescriptionJob Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted full-time Behavioral Specialist position is available to support K-12 students across multiple schools within the Charleston County area, including Mount Pleasant, SC. Candidates can express interest in positions supporting preschool through high school students in one of the following areas: Preschool Support, North Charleston, Southwest, West Ashley, or East of the Cooper. Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention plans for students exhibiting challenging behaviors. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support strategies. Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect data to inform intervention effectiveness. Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students and school staff. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive behavioral outcomes. Qualifications/Experience: Relevant certification or licensure as a Behavioral Specialist or equivalent. Experience working with school-aged children in a behavioral support capacity. Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and functional assessment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to work on-site in school settings throughout the Charleston County area. Position Details: Contract duration from ASAP through May 29, 2026. Full-time schedule with hours aligned to the school calendar. Specific school placements to be confirmed; candidates should indicate preferred geographic area. Caseload details and student age groups are to be determined based on assignment.
