A temporary Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide onsite nursing services for an elementary school in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position is to cover a maternity leave and runs from March 10, 2026, through June 5, 2026. The role involves delivering comprehensive school nursing care within the school setting, supporting a caseload that includes 1.5 Licensed School Nurses and 1 health paraprofessional. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students as needed Manage and maintain accurate student health records Collaborate with school staff to support student health plans and wellness initiatives Assist with care coordination for students requiring special health services Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary Participate in health education and promotion activities within the school community Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Experience in school nursing preferred Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent health concerns Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel Valid nursing license must be provided with application Details: Location: Minneapolis area, elementary school setting Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Position Type: Contract, maternity leave coverage Applicants must submit a current resume and valid nursing license with their application.
