An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support a middle school Autism classroom from January 8, 2026, through June 5, 2026. This contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, providing consistency and work-life balance for the duration of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 22 students with autism in a middle school setting. Collaborate with a dedicated team responsible for managing IEPs and evaluations, allowing focus on direct student engagement and instruction. Implement individualized educational strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral development. Maintain clear communication with staff, families, and administrators to enhance student success. Qualifications: Valid Tier 1-4 Special Education teaching license or equivalent certification. Experience working with students with autism or similar developmental disabilities preferred. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Location: Forest Lake, Minnesota This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a focused educational environment, supporting students with specialized needs during a key phase of their development.
