Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support a Middle School Autism classroom in Saint Paul, MN. The position runs from January 8, 2026, through June 5, 2026, with a daily schedule of 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. This role involves providing instruction and support to a caseload of 22 students, with no individual education plans or evaluations required, as these are managed by a designated team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with autism within a middle school setting Collaborate with designated teams responsible for IEPs and evaluations to ensure cohesive student support Implement behavior management and individualized strategies to foster student growth and success Maintain accurate and timely communication with staff and families regarding student progress Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment Qualifications and Experience: Valid Tier 1-4 Special Education teaching license Experience working in middle school special education, preferably with students on the autism spectrum Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage diverse learners Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Location: Middle school located in the Saint Paul, MN area Benefits and Perks: Structured contract role with set hours and clear expectations Opportunity to impact the educational experiences of students in a supportive environment Work alongside a dedicated special education team Interested candidates should submit a resume and a copy of their teaching license to be considered.
