This is a contract position running from January 15 to June 15, with working hours from 7:55 AM to 3:05 PM. The role involves supporting students in an inclusion/co-taught environment within a single school building. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach and support inclusive classrooms. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to support student success. Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with middle school students in inclusion or co-teaching settings. Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently within one school setting. Location: Jersey City, New Jersey. Contract Details: Duration: January 15 June 15. Hours: 7:55 AM 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday. Caseload: Middle school students in inclusion/co-taught classrooms.
