Serving approximately 20 high school students with unique learning needs, the role requires a dedicated and skilled professional committed to fostering inclusive educational experiences. Qualifications: Minnesota Special Education Teaching License Tier 3 or 4 is mandatory Experience in special education teaching, particularly within high school settings, is preferred Ability to provide effective instruction and support adaptations for students with diverse learning needs Job Details: Location: Andover, MN Start Date: ASAP End Date: 5/28/2026 Contract type: Full-time, 40 hours per week (7:15 AM 3:45 PM) Workweek: 5 days Caseload: Approximately 20 high school students in a Setting IV program Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement individual and group instructional activities tailored to students goals Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Use specialized teaching methods and materials to enhance student engagement and achievement Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards Adapt lessons and classroom environment to meet individual student needs and promote independence Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student development and needs Benefits: Competitive compensation package Weekly pay distribution Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Matching 401(k) retirement plan Flexible spending accounts to support healthcare and dependent care expenses This contract opportunity offers a supportive environment and the chance to positively impact the lives of students requiring specialized education.
