Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Middle School Special Education Teacher is needed for a contract position in Andover, MN, serving a middle school autism classroom from January 8, 2026, through June 5, 2026. This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 22 students in an autism-focused middle school classroom Collaborate with designated team members who handle IEPs and evaluations, as these are not required for this position Adapt educational materials and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Qualifications and Experience: Valid Tier 1-4 special education teaching license required Experience working with middle school-aged students, preferably in an autism classroom setting Ability to work effectively within a team dedicated to special education support Strong communication and organizational skills Location: Andover, MN (Middle School) This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting.
