A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available within a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. This contract opportunity spans the current school year and offers a dynamic environment to support students from Pre-K to 12th grade. The role requires close collaboration with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and facilitators, providing supervision and guidance to ensure effective therapy delivery. Compensatory time is required as part of the schedule. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across Pre-K through 12th grade. Collaborate with educators, COTAs, and facilitators to implement individualized treatment plans. Provide supervision and support to therapy assistants and facilitate team communication. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning. Adhere to state licensure regulations and school policies. Qualifications: Active California Occupational Therapist license. Experience working in school settings, preferably serving K-12 populations. Ability to supervise COTA and support staff effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to working full-time hours with 37.5 scheduled hours per week. Availability to fulfill compensatory time requirements.
