A healthcare role is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This position plays a vital part in cardiac catheterization and related interventions, supporting patient care with advanced imaging technology and ensuring safety and accuracy throughout the procedures. Location:Situated in Alexandria, LA, this role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped cardiac cath lab environment serving patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, peripheral interventions, TAVR, and device implantations. Responsibilities include: Preparing the cath lab and ensuring all imaging and hemodynamic equipment is operational and properly set up for daily procedures. Collaborating with the procedure team to optimize patient care and procedural efficiency. Operating advanced imaging systems such as X-Ray, IVUS, intracardiac echo, contrast injectors, and various assist devices. Maintaining strict adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety protocols throughout procedures. Documenting patient information, procedure details, and hemodynamic data accurately. Serving as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use. Participating in inventory management, equipment checks, and patient transport as needed. Engaging in ongoing training to maintain and expand cath lab procedure competencies. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current Louisiana State Board of Radiology license and ARRT national certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred. Up to one year of acute care experience preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Schedule & Type: Full-time contract position. Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. Weekend coverage required every third or fourth weekend. On-call duties shared collaboratively with the team.
