Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support a dynamic cardiovascular team in a Cath Lab setting, performing essential technical duties that contribute directly to patient care and outcomes. This contract opportunity in Basking Ridge, NJ, involves assisting with a range of procedures including cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker implantations, and interventional radiology treatments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients and the lab for cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. Monitor and document hemodynamic data accurately, aiding in clinical decision-making. Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after interventions. Assess and manage vascular access sites, promptly communicating any concerns. Follow established protocols for on-call Cath lab operations to ensure readiness. Effectively coordinate patient preparation and post-procedural care activities. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician or similar role in cardiac imaging. Proficiency in catheterization lab procedures, including PCI and vascular interventions. Ability to monitor hemodynamic parameters and provide detailed documentation. Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with physicians and clinical teams.
