A K-12 paraprofessional opportunity is available in Aurora, CO, offering a contract position through the current school year with a potential end date of May 22, 2026. This role supports students in both elementary and high school settings, providing essential assistance in classrooms under the guidance of certified teachers. Key Responsibilities: Assist with classroom activities and support student learning across various age groups. Work directly with students who have significant to severe needs, providing individualized support. Help students with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering, as necessary. Adapt to assignments across different school sites and grade levels based on district needs and your experience. Arrive promptly by 7:40 am (elementary) or 8:00 am (middle/high school) to begin daily duties. Maintain professional conduct, including clearance through fingerprinting and background checks as required. Qualifications: Minimum of one years experience working in school classrooms. Preferred experience with significant/severe caseloads. Reliable personal transportation essential (public transit is not considered reliable for this role). Flexibility to be reassigned to various school locations and student age groups. Ability to provide two completed professional references with verified assurance. Candidates must understand that presentation of references without assurance will disqualify consideration. Compliance with all district background requirements. Location: Aurora, Colorado Duration: Contract through May 22, 2026 Start Date: Immediate availability required This role offers a valuable chance to contribute to student success in a dynamic educational environment.
