This full-time contract opportunity is seeking experienced General Education Math teachers to support high school students in the New Orleans, LA area. Candidates must hold an active Louisiana DOE teaching certificateapplications from individuals with Temporary or Alternative Teaching certificates will not be considered. The position commences as soon as possible and runs through May 22, 2026, aligning with the academic calendar. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with high school general education curriculum standards. Create lesson plans and assessments that promote student learning and progress. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs within the classroom. Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment. Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records as required. Qualifications: Active Louisiana DOE teaching certification in General Education Math. Proven experience working with high school students in a classroom setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to begin employment immediatelyno pending certification processes. Commitment to supporting student achievement and growth. Location: High schools within the New Orleans, Louisiana area. Hours & Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Monday through Friday, according to the school calendar. 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
