The role begins ASAP and extends through the end of the school year, with potential for renewal. This contract position is ideal for an experienced school-based OT seeking flexibility in hours. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, assisting with Individualized Education Program (IEP) related services, and providing supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). This position does not involve carrying an independent caseload but focuses on enhancing the existing OT service delivery. Key Qualifications and Experience: Active state Occupational Therapy license is required. Previous experience working as a school-based OT is mandatory. Proven ability to conduct student evaluations within the school setting. Experience supervising COTAs in compliance with school therapy protocols. Strong understanding of IEP process and collaboration with school teams. Reliable transportation and availability for flexible scheduling.
