This position focuses on students across various grade levels, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) students. Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning challenges, behavioral issues, and emotional concerns. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and support services to students to promote academic success and emotional well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas. Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a strong understanding of developmental differences across grade levels. Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education laws. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
