This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within elementary school settings during the 2025-2026 school year. The position is offered through a special education cooperative serving two districts in Kansas. Candidates may choose to work in either an Emporia, KS, location or Council Grove, KS, location, based on their place of residence. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students, ranging from small caseloads (10-12 students per day) to larger groups (50-55 students per week). Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement appropriate communication goals and interventions. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with state and district guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs). Desired Qualifications: Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred. Experience in school-based SLP services with elementary-aged children. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to work full-time or part-time onsite. Location: Emporia, KS (Emporia School District) Council Grove, KS (Morris County School District) Contract Details: Contract period from ASAP through May 20, 2026. Position is onsite only.
