A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience to provide onsite support during a maternity leave at an elementary school in Hopkins, Minnesota. Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Caseload:
Includes collaboration with 1.5 Licensed School Nurses (LSNs) and 1 health paraprofessional Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care and assessments to students in the school setting Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and protocols Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health needs Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with policies and regulations Respond promptly to student health emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions Preferred Qualifications: Valid RN licensure with school nursing certification or experience Demonstrated ability to manage school health programs and caseloads effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred This position offers a valuable opportunity to support student health on a temporary basis during a staff leave.
