As an Observation Medicine Medical Director with USACS, you'll manage observation medicine services by collaborating with hospital and nursing leadership while supporting physician staff and influencing company decisions. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily unit operations, providing operational leadership, managing peer review and quality assurance, ensuring quality patient experience through protocol management, practicing clinically, leading unit meetings, supervising onsite physician staff, reporting to the National Director of Observation Services, maintaining improvement plans for underperforming areas, and investigating quality referrals. Candidates must be board certified in Emergency Medicine with at least 3 years of hospital-based patient care experience, with previous administrative experience preferred.
