Located in Lehigh Acres, FL, this full-time contract position offers the opportunity to serve as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary school students within multiple schools in the Fort Myers area. The role is set to begin January 5, 2026, and continue through June 1, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 to 55 students. Collaborating with certified speech-language pathologists and educational staff to support individualized education programs (IEPs). Maintaining detailed records and progress notes to ensure compliance and effective treatment. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of therapy plans tailored to student needs. Qualifications: Active Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) SLPA license required. Experience ranges from entry level to over 10 years, with caseload management skills highly valued. Prior experience working in school settings and with elementary-aged students preferable. Strong communication and organizational skills. Locations for service include: Veterans Park Academy for the Arts PreK-8 (five days per week) Harns Marsh Elementary (two days per week) paired with Mirror Lakes Elementary (two days per week) Oak Hammock Middle (four days per week) paired with Estero High School (one day per week) This contract position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development in a collaborative school environment.
