A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Fort Myers, FL, serving elementary and middle school students. This contract role runs from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, providing vital support to students across multiple school locations. The position requires an active Florida Department of Health SLPA license and readiness to manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, primarily within the PreK-8 and elementary school age groups. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs across multiple schools. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other educational staff to implement effective communication interventions. Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student. Participate in team meetings and advocate for student needs. Adhere to school district policies and procedures related to speech-language services. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Active Florida DOH SLPA license is mandatory. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary or PreK-8 setting. Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work at various school sites within Fort Myers on scheduled days. Location and Schedule: Fort Myers, FL. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
