A high school is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to support students in an English Language Arts (ELA) role. This position is a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY) and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction in ELA tailored to meet the needs of students with special education requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed. Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations and guidelines. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching license. Experience teaching at the high school level, particularly in ELA. Strong knowledge of special education laws, techniques, and best practices. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
