A long-term care pharmacy serving the greater Boston area is hiring an Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge for a 13-week contract with contract-to-hire opportunity, starting immediately. This role offers schedule flexibility, leadership visibility, and the chance to make a lasting operational impact.
Responsibilities Oversee pharmacy operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance Ensure adherence to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal policies Supervise pharmacy staff and foster a collaborative, accountable team culture Manage controlled substance documentation and inventory oversight Support policy development and continuous process improvement Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and stakeholders Lead audits and quality assurance initiatives Maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient pharmacy environment Work within the Frameworks pharmacy system Requirements Active Pharmacist license required Minimum 24 years of LTC pharmacy experience required Prior xsgimln leadership or PIC experience required Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory standards Frameworks system experience required Availability for flexible scheduling as needed A strong opportunity for experienced LTC pharmacists seeking interim leadership with a path to permanency in the Boston metro region.
