A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Radiological Technologist skilled in Cath Lab procedures, including Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR). This contract position offers a dynamic role requiring proficiency in scrub and monitoring duties during device implantations and ablations within a Cath Lab environment. Location: Freeport, IL, a community known for its welcoming atmosphere, rich history, and accessible livingoffering a comfortable balance between small-town charm and essential amenities. Qualifications and Desired Experience: ARRT certification is required. Demonstrated experience in Cath Lab imaging and EP procedures. Proficient in scrub and monitor roles for both cardiology and interventional radiology cases. Ability to manage device implantations and ablations confidently. Comfortable providing on-call coverage, including nights and weekends. Responsibilities: Perform scrub and monitoring roles for various Cath Lab procedures involving cardiac and interventional radiology patients. Execute accurate imaging techniques essential for device implants and ablations. Participate in on-call rotation covering Cath Lab cases, approximately 40% radiology-focused. Facilitate smooth Cath Lab operations through meticulous attention to procedural requirements and patient safety. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week. One to two call nights per week. Call scheduled every third or fourth weekend. This position is ideal for candidates willing to relocate or travel, as local applicants within a 50-mile radius are not being considered.
