About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for its Loan Workout team within the Asset Management department. The successful candidate will be tasked with the proactive oversight and resolution of a portfolio that includes specially serviced CMBS loans and other distressed debt assets. This role demands a professional with a strong background in commercial real estate debt, particularly in the workout of non-performing loans, and a proven ability to engage in the underwriting of new debt investments. Key responsibilities for the SVP include negotiating and structuring complex debt instruments, comprehensive analysis of collateral and loan positioning, and ensuring compliance with a range of financial and legal requirements. The role also involves interaction with various third-party consultants and requires the presentation of resolution strategies to company leadership.
Applicants for the SVP position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as commercial real estate or finance, and have a minimum of 7 years' experience in the workout of non-performing commercial real estate loans or debt asset management. Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate, fixed income, and financial concepts is essential, with a recommendation for experience in the origination and servicing of various types of securities.
