Essential Job Functions
General construction activities such as shoveling, lifting, and pulling
Traffic control, including guiding vehicles and equipment to appropriate areas and placing signs and cones for vehicle direction
Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via handheld radios and CBs
Site clean‑up and vehicle/equipment maintenance
Driving employees to their work stations as needed
Fueling vehicles and equipment
Setting up and securing wind fences and landfill coverings
Following OSHA safety standards and wearing required PPE
Performing other duties assigned by the manager as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
1 year of relevant labor experience is preferred
Able to work outdoors on a constant basis, exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises
Must be able to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds
Experience operating equipment is a plus
Valid Driver’s License preferred
