Lead Lifeguard

Part‑time, seasonal employment. The City of Fayetteville is recruiting certified Lead Lifeguards to oversee professional, responsible, and specialized work related to public safety and recreation at a City aquatics facility. Duties include enforcing rules and regulations, preventing injuries, and performing maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the public.
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years old
Have at least 1 year of lifeguard experience
Currently possess the following American Red Cross certifications:
American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid; or
American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguarding; and
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Preferred Certifications
Certified Pool Operator / Aquatic Facility Operator Certification
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification

Selection Process From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last approximately 4–6 weeks. It will consist of a panel interview, followed by a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
